The GTS laboratory works on advanced signal processing applied to real-world problems. Its research lines include ultrasound and non-destructive testing, acoustic fault and leak detection, multimodal monitoring with audio, imaging, and infrared, and underwater acoustics, including the automatic detection and classification of cetacean vocalizations and the characterization of ocean noise. It also develops biomedical processing techniques (EEG, ECG).
